The Vision
is for Hamlin Visions to become a studio that acts as a vehicle for workforce development. Hamlin’s work as “Nightwing” will improve Hamlin Visions, providing opportunities for youth to gain direct experience for their field, in film world and beyond. Our youth are the vision of their future, and HV hopes to empower them to take ownership of theirs.
-
“Intention” has two functions in Hamlin Visions: To be intentional in how we capture your content, as well as prioritizing the intentions of your vision.
-
We know your experience is about more than just photos or videos. Our care will always be demonstrated in the partnerships we create.
-
The more creative a project, the more passionate we get! We hope to share your vision creatively and comprehensively.
-
Hamlin Visions welcomes any media that inspires positivity, open dialogue and community!
We will, however, refuse works with intent to harm, disrespect, or misrepresent any groups, cultures or identities.
Hamlin and his Vision
The Mission of HV
is to capture your vision with creativity at the forefront. Whether you are exploring screenplay productions, looking to document impactful moments, or signifying a new journey, Hamlin Visions always works to apply our four pillars: Intention, Empathy, Storytelling, and Impact.
Khalel Hamlin, 26
“Be GREAT, as always!”
Khalel “Nightwing” Hamlin has always wanted to find what connects people the most. As Khalel, his elementary days were filled with dreams of leadership and community service, mostly including a lot of super strength, speed and remarkable kindness. He found an attachment to heroes that had amazing capabilities and teams to support them, so he focused on how he could accomplish that in a world without powers (yet). Those around Khalel started calling him ‘Hamlin’ in his transition to Albany High School, where his concept of heroism also evolved from powers to potential. Here, through JROTC, early parenthood and working with the youth, Hamlin experienced the necessity of empathy in leadership.
For Hamlin, film became the demonstration of both qualities. By creating a film, you lead people through an experience that will impact their perspective after watching. It is up to your intentionality, impact and storytelling to effectively elicit the reaction you're hoping to create.
He later became Nightwing, now working to create opportunities for other young heroes to find their path. Through film and media production, Nightwing hopes to develop workforce development opportunities that are supportive of the mentees and interns that take part in them.
Hamlin’s goal is to create a film production company that acts as the on-site experience of a larger workforce development program, providing work experience opportunities in a variety of fields, from cosmetic skill work to labor and construction. All while providing safe learning experiences for our youth.
